The Ottoman.

We didn’t have a coffee table in our living room. You see our old one was lovely but huge, and when we had Ethan there was not enough room for him to roll around and play. So it sat in the garage for months until we finally sold it at our garage sale we had about a month ago. We had been talking about possibly getting a leather ottoman to replace it, since it would be smaller and we could use it as storage. But I kept thinking the dark leather would be too much for our little room. So when I was in Target the other day and saw this ottoman I had to have it. The color was fantastic, the size was just right, the price was perfect, and Ethan’s new Christmas toys would fit wonderfully. Doesn’t it look fabulous!

Ok, so this picture doesn’t really do it any justice but you get the idea, right?

So it’s fabulous, wonderful, and any other glorious word you can think of, except…

within 2 hours of having it home (yep the tag is still on it), Ethan had figured out how to climb on top of it and almost fall off, he’d wiped grapes on it, and if you look close enough sneezed twice and blew snot on it.

So much for keeping it clean and new looking.

At least it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
